The Roman Baths will stay open until 8pm (with last admission at 7pm) every day over the Easter weekend. Visitors can enjoy live music from Elysium Brass on the Friday and Monday, and the Bath Spa Quartet on the Saturday and Sunday.

The Natural Theatre Company’s costumed characters will also give impromptu performances, and a pop-up bar will service prosecco and soft drinks. The museum will also remain open for visitors to explore after hours.

Easter Evenings at the Roman Baths build on the success of the success of the annual Torchlit Summer Evenings, which give summertime visitors a chance to avoid the daytime crowds and soak up the magical atmosphere around the torchlit Great Bath.

Stephen Bird, Head of Heritage Services at Bath & North East Somerset Council said, “The Roman Baths are wonderfully atmospheric in the evenings, and it’s great that visitors over Easter will be able to stay later and enjoy music and entertainment beside the Great Bath.

“I hope that lots of residents will use their Discovery Cards to come along to the Easter Evenings for free.”

Easter Evenings are included in the standard Roman Baths admission price, while entry is free for residents of Bath & North East Somerset with a Discovery Card.
