EU nationals survey on skills and salaries

UKinbound is currently gathering detailed information and evidence on EU salary and skill levels across the UK via a survey to all its members and the members of the other main tourism and hospitality trade associations.

The main reason for this is because current proposals are for a salary threshold to be imposed on EU migrant workers when the UK leaves the EU, only allowing access to highly skilled and skilled workers.

The Government is currently consulting on the recommendation that this should be set at a minimum of £30,000 p.a.

The information that members provide in this survey will be invaluable in helping UKinbound and other associations determine what impact this will have on your businesses and the wider industry.

It will only take approximately 10 – 15 minutes and ideally will need to be completed by a senior member of your organisation.

The research is being administered by independent research agency Qa Research and all responses will be held in the strictest confidence. The results will be evaluated by Canterbury Christ Church University in partnership with UKinbound and published in Autumn 2019.  The report will be shared with Government and other key stakeholders.

The survey closes on Friday 2 August.
