For four weekends in August, London Designer Outlet (LDO) will bring all the fun and music of the festival to Wembley Park. Each weekend will see a full schedule of different festival-inspired activities including live music, personal festival styling, and a children’s immersive street theatre and entertainers.
In addition, visitors spending £40 on the festival days will be eligible to enter hourly prize draws to win a £100 LDO gift voucher each weekend.
Festival Styling: 10 & 11 August; 17 & 18 August, 11am – 6pm
The first two weekends will see stylist and wardrobe consultant Charlotte Broadbent host a series of free talks in and around the LDO Tipi in Retail Square. Each session will expertly guide shoppers through the festival trends of the season, from weatherproofing and accessorising favourite festival looks to packing the essentials. Whether it’s Dr. Martens boots, a glittery shawl from H&M or a stylish rain mac from Trespass, all items will be available to buy from the LDO.
Roaming makeup artists will also offer free festival makeup and glitter to shoppers, and live buskers will perform in the morning to bring the atmosphere to life and get visitors in the festival mood.
Kids Mini-Fest: 24 – 26 August; 31 August – 1 September, 11am – 5pm
The last two weekends will bring big smiles to little faces with family festival fun, including bubble wizards, face painting, hula hooping, ribbon twirling and more. In the mornings, the LDO Tipi will see buskers warm up the crowd while a DJ will play some kids’ favourites to get them on their feet to dance along.
It is also the perfect opportunity to shop for all the kids’ back to school needs. Head to Clarks for their shoe measuring service, or to M&S, Dr. Martens and Trespass to pick up some new term essentials.
Families can grab a quick bite at Shaketastic, Wrapchic or Subway, or sit down for a family meal at Nando’s, Frankie & Benny’s, PizzaExpress, or LDO’s ‘restaurant of the month’, Big Moes, for a mouth-watering burger or ice cream sundae. Make a great day even better with a trip to LDO’s Cineworld, where Toy Story 4, The Lion King and The Queen’s Corgi are screening all summer.
Dropit – Free App-based hotel / home delivery service
Visitors can enjoy LDO’s Fest For All without having to worry about carrying home all the new bargains, by using the store-to-door delivery service, powered by Dropit. Shopping can be left in each outlet store where it’s sealed into a Dropit bag, collected by the Dropit team and delivered to a home, hotel or office address anywhere on mainland Britain on a date of choice (sometimes the same day).
Normally costing £10.50, LDO will be offering this service completely free of charge to visitors spending a minimum of £25 (terms and conditions apply).
