Golden Tours Gray Line, more commonly known for its popular London sightseeing offering, is set to expand its hop-on, hop-off open top bus service locations with the introduction of Windsor. The addition comes after the success of Golden Tours York, which was launched during the summer.
From 12 December visitors will be able to board one of Golden Tours’ iconic blue buses and explore the world-famous historical town of Windsor and neighbouring Eton. Home to the oldest and largest inhabited castle in the world, Windsor is packed with must-see sites, including the Long Walk, St George’s Chapel and Windsor Guildhall.
The hourly service will provide passengers with a choice of 11 stops, conveniently located at top sites around the Royal Borough including Windsor Castle, Eton College and Windsor Farm Shop.
Managing Director Mikesh Palan said, “Windsor is such a stunning town, and one with which Golden Tours has had a long standing relationship, with our range of daily sightseeing tours from London. Boasting the perfect mix of history, culture and heritage it is the perfect location for our next hop-on, hop-off venture.”
Buses will run daily with social distancing measures in place. 24-hour tickets are available from £15 for adults, £8 for children (aged 4-15), £11 for students/seniors, and £36 for a family of two adults and two children. For more information or to book, please visit goldentours.com.
