UKinbound Group Friendly Charter Terms
By signing up to the UKinbound Group Friendly Charter, accommodation providers agree to deliver the following terms to the best of their ability, subject to availability. All terms are valid for dates of travel up to and including 30 June 2022; the terms and validity period will be reviewed quarterly from September 2021.
UKINBOUND GROUP FRIENDLY CHARTER TERMS
- Valid for final group size of minimum 8 rooms.
- Fair pricing – no increase in rates year-on-year for like-for-like groups moved from 2020 to 2022.
- Rate matching – rates honoured for group size increases of up to 10%.
- 10%, or 2 rooms, whichever is the greater, can cancel free of charge up to 48 hours prior to arrival.
- If Government restrictions, either from the UK or from the group’s country of origin/departure result in the group not being able to travel (as a whole or in part), the relevant numbers can be cancelled free of charge, subject to receipt of confirmation from the relevant Government. This overrides any other pre-existing agreement on cancellation terms.
- Participating accommodation providers must be able to demonstrate an existing COVID-safe policy.
UKINBOUND GROUP FRIENDLY CHARTER PLUS (optionally available for UKinbound members only and subject to availability)
- Valid for final group size between 8 and 30 rooms.
- Fair pricing – no increase in rates year-on-year for like-for-like groups moved from 2020 to 2022.
- Rate matching – rates honoured for group size increases of up to 10%.
- Free cancellation up to 14 days prior to arrival for the whole group.
- 1 free single room for the driver/tour guide if applicable, on the same board basis as the group. If no driver/guide accompanies the group, a free single room is offered with 20 paying guests.
- If Government restrictions, either from the UK or from the group’s country of origin/departure result in the group not being able to travel (as a whole or in part), the relevant numbers can be cancelled free of charge, subject to receipt of confirmation from the relevant Government. This overrides any other pre-existing agreement on cancellation terms.
- Participating accommodation providers must be able to demonstrate an existing COVID-policy.
- Tour operators should quote their UKinbound membership to benefit from these enhanced terms.
