Argyll & The Isles Tourism Cooperative (AITC) is a strategic destination marketing and management organisation representing the Argyll & The Isles destination – Scotland’s Adventure Coast – which is located on the west coast of Scotland and on Glasgow’s doorstep. Our destination is characterised by an extensive coastline, 23 inhabited islands, 60 castles, 14 world renowned whisky distilleries, over 1500km of long distance trails, 4 national nature reserves and outstanding local food produce.
AITC undertakes strategic campaign activity working on behalf of 9 sub destinations in Argyll. We are focused on product development, business readiness and working with the travel trade.
Our distilleries can be found across the landscape of Scotland, from the highlands to the lowlands and the Scottish Isles – all offering a range of immersive scotch whisky experiences.
