The Old Royal Naval College is one of London’s most popular attractions, at the heart of Maritime Greenwich World Heritage Site, welcoming 1.2 million visitors annually. This is a truly exciting time to join the organisation as they embark on a transformation to become a cultural destination.
They are looking to appoint a Team Leader to work in the Visitor Experience Team on a full-time basis, subject to a 6-month probation. The Visitor Experience and Retail Team Leaders are responsible for the day-to-day leadership of the visitor-facing team, ensuring that visitor experience is delivered to the highest possible standard across three elements: Interpretation, Retail and Admissions.
Key skills & experience:
- Ability to lead a team across the whole visitor experience.
- Excellent understanding of the visitor offer and how it is delivered.
- Demonstrable experience at proactively engaging and converting visitors to ticket sales.
- Good presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to problem solve, demonstrate initiative and good professionalism.
- Must be First Aid Trained, or willing to be trained.
