Westminster Abbey is offering its visitors an opportunity to explore behind the scenes of the Abbey on a guided tour of some areas not usually open to the public.
Visitors will be able to explore the lost medieval sacristy, recently revealed during one of Abbey’s biggest archaeological projects. Other tour highlights include the library, which was formerly part of the monk’s dormitory with a 15th century oak roof and 17th century bookcases, as well as the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Galleries opened in 2018 and Jerusalem Chamber, the medieval room where Henry IV died and Henry V became king.
