V&A is set to open a free museum for children in London on 1 July 2023, where young people and families can imagine, play and design.
Young V&A is a new home for creativity, co-designed with children and young people. The museum’s three permanent galleries – Imagine, Play and Design – will showcase around 2,000 objects from across the V&A’s vast collection of art, design and performance in hands-on and inspiring ways. A place to imagine, play, create, debate and design, Young V&A is built to spark children’s creativity and develop skills needed to thrive in this fast-changing world.
