Heart Breakfast showbiz reporter Ashley Roberts successfully completed her second challenge for ‘Heart Breakfast’s Race Against Time’, by walking in the open-air on top of Brighton’s i360 pod at 138 meters (450ft).
Ashley Roberts began her challenge by pedalling on a static bike and for every mile she pedalled, the Brighton i360 pod climbed 50 feet higher. Once Ashley had completed the bike ride, she climbed out of a hatch on the pod and walked on top of the Brighton i360 in the open-air, completing Walk 360.
Brighton i360 is taller than the Blackpool Tower (by 4m), London Eye (by 17m) and The Great Pyramids of Geeza (By 24m). It is ‘One Hundred Amanda Holdens’ and thirsty six double decker buses in height.
After completing the challenge, Heart showbiz report Ashley Roberts said, “That was one of the toughest things I’ve ever done to be honest. The toughest bit was the cycling but when I saw how high we were, it hit me.”
