Murrayshall Country Estate has announced that their £30 million development plan has been approved by Perth & Kinross Council.
The approved proposals will include an extension to the hotel, a new spa and leisure facility, an outdoor pursuits area, glamping units, lodges and the potential for residential development and fractional ownership / timeshare.

We’ve been examining for some time our current standing and future prospects and it is evident we continue to face certain challenges.
“The decision to approve our proposals in principle is the first step at a new chapter for Murrayshall Country Estate – a journey from challenges to opportunities, fostering growth, employment and ultimately providing an asset to be enjoyed by the local community. Reflecting on our past endeavours, including a substantial investment of approximately £5 million into the estate, we recognise the significance of this milestone. This approval unlocks a potential investment of around £169 million across Perth and Kinross and Scotland, potentially securing 400 job opportunities.”
