Scotland’s Tay Country has unveiled its latest initiative aimed at the national and international travel trade, introducing all-new travel trade guide and sample itineraries, crafted to showcase the diverse offerings of Dunfermline and South West Fife.
The city of Dunfermline often remains undiscovered by tour operators who seek unique experiences for their clientele. Recognising this gap, the Scotland’s Tay Country team has been working with businesses to develop a range of travel trade ready, bookable products compiled in the new travel trade guide, offering a curated selection of experiences and itineraries tailored to meet the discerning tastes of travellers.
Hilary Roberts, Lead Officer for Tourism at Fife Council said, “Dunfermline achieving city status in 2022 gave a huge boost to Fife as a whole, and gave us the opportunity to develop Dunfermline as a city break destination. Working with businesses to create exciting and unique experiences for our visitors became a priority for us, and now we are delighted to promote everything the area has to offer, and look forward to welcoming visitors from all over the world.”
