Forth Boat Tours has announced a partnership with Bright Bus Tours, a rapidly growing Edinburgh bus tour operator, to introduce the all-new Boat and Bridges Tour this summer.

Bright Bus Tours offers two popular hop-on, hop-off tours: the City Tour and the Britannia Tour. These tours highlight Edinburgh’s most famous landmarks, such as Edinburgh Castle, the National Museum of Scotland, the Scottish Parliament, Our Dynamic Earth, the Royal Botanic Garden, Royal Yacht Britannia, and many more.

The new Boat and Bridges Tour features up to four bus departures daily until the end of October, taking sightseers from the heart of Edinburgh directly to South Queensferry. From there, passengers will embark on a boat journey offering unrivaled views of the Forth Bridges – a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Alex Hornby, Managing Director of Bright Bus Tours said, “We’re delighted to be the only Edinburgh tour operator to offer this unique experience, thanks to our exclusive partnership with Forth Boat Tours. Bright Bus is Edinburgh’s fastest-growing tour bus network, and this new partnership reflects our ambition to develop closer relationships with visitor attractions across our Capital city.

“Our unmissable bright orange buses will take sightseers from Waterloo Place straight to the waterfront to join the amazing Three Bridges Cruise, which includes spectacular views of the three bridges spanning the Forth. Our customers can relax with a drink or snack from the bar and enjoy beautiful panoramic views of the Edinburgh skyline and Inchcolm Island with its medieval Abbey. Children will love spotting the marine wildlife, including seabirds, seals, puffins, and the occasional porpoise or two! A guided commentary ensures you won’t miss a thing – and if the great Scottish weather tries to spoil the party, the boats have an indoor saloon with panoramic windows to enjoy the views come rain or shine.”

Alastair Baird, Sales, Marketing, and Development Manager of Forth Boat Tours said, “We’re delighted to be working with Bright Bus to make it easy for tourists to explore the city by boat and bus. Edinburgh’s spectacular skyline is even more impressive when admired from the Forth, and the iconic UNESCO World Heritage Forth Bridge is as popular with visitors as the Castle and Arthur’s Seat. The Boat and Bridges Tour is the best”way to get a unique perspective of Edinburgh and its world-class visitor attractions.”

Tickets for the new Boat and Bridges Tour are available on the Bright Bus Tours website, and from the bus drivers and street vendors.
