INTX has been awarded the Green Tourism Silver Award in recognition of the company’s commitment to sustainability and excellence in the transport sector.
Green Tourism’s award certification programme acknowledges tourism businesses actively working to enhance their sustainability. Their Bronze, Silver, and Gold awards are globally recognised indicators of environmentally-friendly practices.
Specialising in coach hire, chauffeur hire, and managed transport solutions across the UK for more than 25 years, INTX has made significant strides in sustainability.
Since earning their initial Bronze Award in 2022, INTX has intensified efforts by implementing initiatives such as a monthly staff sustainability newsletter, updated diversity and inclusion policies, and a responsible visitor charter. They have also reduced office single-use plastics, switched to eco-friendly cleaning products, conducted a climate change risk assessment, and supported local community projects. INTX has also started measuring their scope 3 emissions, a crucial step towards understanding and reducing their indirect environmental impacts.
