Highland Experience Tours has announced a new collaboration with Diageo and Glenkinchie Distillery, offering a range of curated whisky experiences departing from Edinburgh.
Glenkinchie Distillery, known for its Edinburgh Malt, produces a whisky celebrated for its distinctive Lowland style. Characterised by notes of fragrant flowers, dried cut grass, and nutty cereal, Glenkinchie’s offerings are enjoyed globally both as a standalone spirit and as a key ingredient in various Johnnie Walker blends.
The new Glenkinchie Experience offers visitors three unique tour options, catering to a range of preferences and interests:
Transfer + Flavour Journey Tour & Tasting. This option includes a comprehensive sensory tour of Glenkinchie Distillery, culminating in a guided tasting of three different whiskies alongside a cocktail.
Transfer + Warehouse Tasting. Guests will have the rare opportunity to sample two exclusive whiskies drawn directly from the cask in the atmospheric Filling Store.
Transfer + Flavour and Cask Experience. This fully guided tour features an extensive tasting experience, including six whiskies, one straight from the cask in Glenkinchie’s maturation room, and engaging narratives about the distillery’s history and production.
Highland Experience Tours offers convenient return transfers from central Edinburgh to Glenkinchie Distillery, so visitors can sit back and enjoy their journey without worrying about transportation. This allows guests to fully immerse themselves in the tour and tastings, making for a relaxed and enjoyable experience.
