We are delighted to invite buyer members to our 2025 Discover Workshop in Northern Ireland, in partnership with Tourism Northern Ireland and Tourism Ireland.

Northern Ireland, a compelling blend of scenic beauty and vibrant culture, beckons travellers with its rich history and breath-taking landscapes. The iconic Giant’s Causeway, a UNESCO World Heritage site, showcases unique basalt columns formed by ancient volcanic activity. Belfast, the capital, offers a dynamic urban experience with attractions like Titanic Belfast and the historic Crumlin Road Gaol. The Causeway Coastal Route, renowned for its dramatic cliffs and serene beaches, provides a picturesque drive through charming villages and past the medieval Dunluce Castle and onto the Walled City of Derry.

Outdoor enthusiasts will relish the Mourne Mountains’ hiking trails and the tranquil beauty of Lough Erne’s waterways. Northern Ireland’s vibrant arts scene, lively pubs, and warm hospitality enhance the allure, making it a must-visit destination for those seeking both adventure and cultural enrichment. With its mix of natural wonders and historical treasures, Northern Ireland promises an unforgettable travel experience.

Upon arrival on 23 February, buyers will take part in a two-day familiarisation visit in Northern Ireland to experience some of the destination’s travel trade friendly experiences and stunning scenery.

A B2B workshop will take place on 25 February between UKinbound buyers and Northern Ireland suppliers, offering a unique networking opportunity and a chance to take part in a series of pre-scheduled, one-to-one meetings.

We look forward to welcoming you to Northern Ireland and showcasing their giant experiences – of culture, landscapes, our legends, cities, coast and food.

PROGRAMME:*

23 February

Your journey begins in Belfast, the capital of Northern Ireland, a city filled vibrant streets, historic landmarks, and rich cultural heritage. Our journey takes us towards Heaney Country, the landscapes that inspired the Nobel laureate Seamus Heaney. After a delightful stop to enjoy some morning coffee and a traditional bread making demo, you will arrive in Bellaghy, Heaney’s birthplace. Here, visit the Seamus Heaney HomePlace, a museum dedicated to his life and work. The exhibits offer a deep dive into the rural landscapes, language, and people that shaped his poetry. Take a moment to walk through the Heaney Trail, where you’ll see the places that brought his words to life.

Leaving Heaney Country, the group will drive west into the heart of the Sperrin Mountains, a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The rolling hills and valleys of the Sperrins offer beautiful panoramic views. The trip will include a stop at the Beaghmore Stone Circles, an ancient and mysterious site, as the group continues its journey through the heart of Mid Ulster.

The group will then arrive in Enniskillen, the county town of Fermanagh, where they will stay overnight and enjoy dinner in a hotel on the shores of Lough Erne. This island town is nestled between Upper and Lower Lough Erne, making it an ideal base for exploring the picturesque and tranquil Fermanagh Lakelands.

24 February

The following day, the group will explore the Fermanagh Lakelands, a paradise for nature lovers, and take a boat tour of Lough Erne, experiencing the serene surroundings and landmarks such as the ancient monastic site on Devenish Island. Experience some of Northern Ireland’s fabulous food and drink and pay a visit to Boatyard Distillery. The itinerary includes a visit to Marble Arch Caves Global Geopark, where the group can explore subterranean rivers and stunning limestone formations in some of Europe’s finest show caves. The journey will also feature a visit to Florence Court, a beautiful 18th-century estate with landscaped gardens and woodland trails. As the fam trip concludes, the group will return to Belfast for an overnight stay and a welcome networking dinner in the city.

25 February

UKinbound will run a half-day workshop offering pre-scheduled B2B meetings, and a networking lunch which will provide the opportunity to develop business relationships with Northern Ireland based suppliers.

Delegates will depart after the networking lunch.
