The Chatham Historic Dockyard Trust has received a Gold Award from VisitEngland in its annual attraction accolades, recognising the quality of its visitor experience.
VisitEngland created these awards to celebrate excellence across the visitor attraction sector. They highlight the standout businesses within the VisitEngland Visitor Attraction Quality Scheme (VAQAS) that go above and beyond to deliver unforgettable experiences.
This year, The Historic Dockyard Chatham achieved a 95% score in its VAQAS assessment – the highest score since the scheme’s inception. This rating has earned the Dockyard its fifth Gold Award, a testament to its continued dedication to delivering an unparalleled visitor experience. The Historic Dockyard Chatham is the only attraction in Kent to receive this coveted accolade.
