Virgin Hotels has appointed David Monson as General Manager for Virgin Hotels London-Shoreditch, the first London hotel from the luxury lifestyle brand.

A seasoned hotelier, David brings over 30 years of hospitality experience and expertise within globally celebrated five-star hotels across the UK and international market.

In his role at Virgin Hotels London-Shoreditch, David will spearhead project management and be responsible for the hotel’s day-to-day operations, including its food and beverage offerings, ensuring the establishment provides a first-class guest experience for local and international visitors.

David joins Virgin Hotels from Broadwick Soho, where he held the position of General Manager. Prior to this, David’s CV spans a six-year term at COMO Hotels & Resorts and an 18-year tenure at Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, including Director roles in London, Dallas, The Bahamas, and Hampshire. During his career, he has also worked at London’s Claridge’s and The Savoy.
