We are delighted to invite our tour operator members to Discover Scotland’s Tay Country on Sunday 22 September – Tuesday 24 September, upcoming in our series of Discover Workshops.
Scotland’s Tay Country was the most talked about UK destination of 2018, when the first V&A museum anywhere in the world outside London opened in September in Dundee.
In less than 5 hours by train, 2 hours by plane from London, visitors can look forward to experiencing a stimulating clash of culture meets countryside, from buzzing cultural cities to revitalising beautiful beaches and serene silent glens.
Taking in the areas of Perthshire, Fife, Angus and Dundee, offering everything from an inspiring visit to V&A Dundee, a coastal tour through the fishing harbours of East Neuk of Fife, a walk through the towering forest landscapes of Perthshire or soaking up a sense of the past at Glamis Castle, every corner of this region is guaranteed to stir your emotions.
During the event, UKinbound will run a half-day workshop offering pre-scheduled B2B meetings providing the opportunity to develop business relationships with local suppliers. There will also be an opportunity to participate in fam trips showcasing Scotland’s Tay Country.

14:30 Fam Trip content to include a guided tour of St Andrews Castle & Cathedral and British Golf Museum

Tour Operator delegates are invited to attend Discover Scotland’s Tay Country FREE OF CHARGE. Attendees will be provided with two night’s accommodation together and with the option of either return flight/train travel to and from London.
We are pleased to share that Scotland’s Tay Country has partnered with Caledonian Sleeper to the opportunity for some of the group to extend their trip and travel to or from the event on the Overnight Sleeper Train in a Club Room. More information on this opportunity will be released in due course.
