We are pleased to invite our buyer members to a fam trip with The University of Edinburgh Hospitality and Events Collection, from 21 to 22 November 2024.

The Scott, a luxurious 4-star deluxe hotel in Edinburgh’s leafy Southside, offers travellers an opulent hotel experience. Perfectly situated for those who want to explore the city centre and enjoy some of Edinburgh’s largest green spaces including Arthur’s Seat and Holyrood Park. The Scott blends historic charm with modern elegance, boasting 36 unique bedrooms and a one-bedroom Gatehouse, all featuring original baronial details dating from as far back as 1750, such as stained glass windows, impressive fireplaces, cornicing, and rich oak panelling. Guests can relax in The Velvet Lounge with a curated selection of fine wines, champagnes, and whiskies, or indulge in exquisite fine dining a la carte and tasting menus at Bonnar’s restaurant with dishes crafted by our Head Chef, Pier Berretta.

Programme:

Thursday 21 November 

15:00: Arrive at The Scott and enjoy free time.

18:00: Attend the UKinbound member event at Johnnie Walker Princes Street.

20:00: Return to The Scott with provided transport.

20:30: Enjoy a gourmet dinner at Bonnar’s Restaurant.

 

Friday 22 November

8:00: Optional yoga experience in The Library at The Scott and breakfast at your leisure.

10:00: Guided tour of The Scott and Scholar Hotels.

11:00: Check out and close of the fam trip.

How to book: Once bookings open, an invitation will be sent out to UKinbound members with a unique booking link.

Please note this event is open to BUYER MEMBERS ONLY. Places are very limited, and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. Places are restricted to TWO representatives per buyer member company.

Bookings will close on Wednesday 13 November 2024.

Any cancellations must be received in writing on or before Wednesday 13 November 2024 by 17:00. In the case of non-attendance on the day or cancellation after the above date, a £25+VAT charge will be applied to cover costs incurred. No refunds are available after the above date but a substitute attendee from your organisation would be accepted.
