We are pleased to invite our buyer members to a fam trip with Visit East Lothian, from Monday 28 October to Tuesday 29 October 2024.
Visit East Lothian is the destination marketing organisation for East Lothian. Representing all tourism businesses across the county, it undertakes a range of activity to promote the area to both domestic and international visitors. Visit East Lothian works closely with the travel trade to develop relevant itineraries and products, as well as collaborating with local businesses to enhance their trade offerings.
Please note that due to limited local supplier capacity, which restricts them to groups of 20 or less, we recommend that buyers who handle FIT and small group bookings attend this fam trip.
Programme:
Monday 28 October
12:00: Depart from Edinburgh
13:00: Lunch and tour of lodges and facilities of Whitekirk Hill, as well as an axe throwing mini activity provided by Wild Cairns
14:45: Tour of Preston Mill
15:30: Tantallon Castle ‘Man at Arms’ talk
16:05: Mini tour and tasting at NB Gin
16:45: Check in to Marine Hotel for tour and dinner
19:00: Dinner at Marine Hotel
Tuesday 29 October:
9:00: Depart from Marine Hotel
9:40: Arrive at Glenkinchie Distillery for tour
10:30: Tour of Carberry Tower Hotel
11:45: Tour of Archerfield Walled Garden, lunch, and mini e-bike tour
12:45: Transport back to Edinburgh
13:30: Arrive in Edinburgh and close of fam trip

Please note that transportation to and from Edinburgh is not included; however, all transportation during the fam trip is provided.

Please note this event is open to BUYER MEMBERS ONLY. Places are very limited, and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. Places are restricted to ONE representatives per buyer member company.
Bookings will close on Friday 11 October 2024.
Any cancellations must be received in writing on or before Friday 11 October 2024 by 17:00. In the case of non-attendance on the day or cancellation after the above date, a £25+VAT charge will be applied to cover costs incurred. No refunds are available after the above date but a substitute attendee from your organisation would be accepted.
