We are pleased to invite our buyer members to a fam trip with Waddesdon Manor and Bicester Village on Wednesday 11 September 2024.
Waddesdon Manor is an impressive French Renaissance-style château set in Buckinghamshire, with sweeping landscapes and manicured gardens. Originally developed in the 1870s and 1880s for Baron Ferdinand de Rothschild to house his collections of decorative arts, Old Master paintings and 18th-century portraits, Waddesdon welcomed the fashionable world with Saturday to Monday house parties.
To secure its future, Waddesdon was left to the National Trust in 1957. The Rothschild Foundation now manages Waddesdon on behalf of the National Trust, and has continued to add to the collections, with both 18th-century and contemporary art. Today, focal points in the garden include an iconic Victorian-style Parterre – famed for its colourful seasonal bedding, an ornate Rococo-style Aviary – conserving rare birds, Pulham rockwork and 3D bird bedding sculptures that are examples of the Rothschild’s pioneering gardening.
Bicester Village is a luxury shopping destination showcasing brands such as Coach, Penhaligon’s, Polo Ralph Lauren, and The White Company. Visitors can explore custom-designed, sensory-sparking gardens and discover newly arrived summer styles discounted by up to 40% off the original retail price. Evan Evans Tours who provide full and half-day tours throughout the UK and beyond, will be providing coach services for the day.

How to book: Once bookings open, an invitation will be sent out to UKinbound members with a unique booking link.
Please note this event is open to BUYER MEMBERS ONLY. Place are very limited, and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. Places are restricted to ONE representative per buyer member company.
Bookings will close on Monday 2 September 2024.
Any cancellations must be received in writing on or before Tuesday 3 September 2024 by 17:00. In the case of non-attendance on the day or cancellation after the above date, a £25+VAT charge will be applied to cover costs incurred. No refunds are available after the above date but a substitute attendee from your organisation would be accepted.
