Battersea Power Station Easter 2025

Battersea Power Station is set to host a range of family-friendly activities from Monday 24 March to Sunday 27 April 2025. With a vibrant mixture of The Big Egg Hunt 2025 trail, family-friendly arts and crafts sessions, mini rides and the riverside neighbourhood’s first-ever chocolate market, visitors of all ages are in for an Easter celebration.

Battersea Power Station will lead in The Big Egg Hunt 2025, a city-wide art spectacle curated by wildlife charity Elephant Family and Clarence Court, with the riverside neighbourhood hosting 21 large-scale decorated eggs, the biggest collection in the trail. The eggs will be on display inside and outside the Grade II* listed Power Station and have been designed by some of the world’s most renowned creatives, spanning art, design, interiors, food and retail, including Mr Doodle, LUAP, LOVE BRAND, Mario Sorrenti, Laxmi Hussain, Ryan Lanji, Shantanu, Fanakapan and Nikhil.

The Big Egg Hunt is a free self-guided art trail that invites people to embark on an ‘egg-citing’ egg hunt across the capital, ticking off each discovery on an app that reveals prizes. The exhibition concludes on Sunday 27 April, when some of the sculptures will be auctioned to raise essential funds for conservation projects supported by the Elephant Family.

From 18 to 21 April, the Power Station’s historic Turbine Hall B will host The Chocolate Station, Battersea Power Station’s first-ever chocolate market, with stalls selling chocolate-based creations ranging from bean-to-bar to truffles, hot chocolate and cacao. There will be chocolate bars, eggs and truffles from the likes of Cornwall’s Chocolatier; Belgium’s oldest chocolate manufacturer, Meurisse; Bristol’s Ruby Hue and London-based chocolatiers, Adam’s Chocolates and Diana’s Chocolates; whose creations are all vegan. Plus, Ritual Cacao and Chocolate Kisses, while Midnight Pantry and Ty Couture will be on hand to supply cakes, cookies and more.

A small selection of street food trucks will be available at Power Station Park, including Duck Shed, which will be offering a Mexican-inspired slow roast pulled duck dish with chilli and dark chocolate mole sauce, and Dante’s Churros, serving up sweet churros with a decadent chocolate dipping sauce. Made of Dough will bring their Neapolitan-style pizzas to the park, and several chocolate specials will be available. Venezuelan street food experts Pabellon will serve arepas, nachos loaded fries, and chocolate French fries for those with a sweet tooth.

Across the Easter weekend, Power Station Park will host ticketed, interactive arts and crafts sessions and activities designed to unleash children’s creativity. On 18 April, Sharky & George will host chocolate-themed sessions featuring classic party games, game show sessions and creative challenges. GlueGang will host two sessions on Saturday 19 April for children to lean into their creative side. At the Paint & Plant arts and craft session, little ones can decorate their pot and then fill it with real spring followers to take home with them, whilst the Chocolate Slime session will be the ultimate Easter-inspired sensory play as children can dive into a world of squishy, stretchy fun, making their very own chocolate-scented slime from scratch.

Easter-inspired arts and crafts will continue on Sunday 20 and Monday 21 April, including basket decorating and spring-inspired felt animal ear creation. Between 5 and 21 April, children can unleash their inner Easter bunny by hopping on the Bungee Trampolines in Power Station Park, getting creative with free face painting, or taking a spin on the Bumper Cars inside Turbine Hall B.
