Blenheim Palace has announced the dates for its annual jousting tournament.
Visitors can step back in time and witness the thrilling clash of steel and the thundering hooves as knights don their armour and mount their noble steeds. This year’s event will be divided between two locations: the Walled Garden and the South Lawn. Visitors can step into the Walled Garden to experience a captivating living history medieval camp, while the South Lawn will host the exhilarating main joust and mesmerizing displays of birds of prey, archery, jester shows and workshops.
Each day of the tournament will feature archery, jester workshops (11am & 2pm) and jester shows (11.30am & 2.30pm) on the South Lawn as well as a Living History Medieval camp in the Walled Garden (all day). In the main arena, Jousting will take place at 12pm and 3.30pm as well as a Birds of Prey Show at 1pm and 3pm.
