Peak season considerations (May to end of October)
With peak season spanning from 1 May to 31 October, groups are advised to consider their arrival times carefully. Arriving before or after opening hours can significantly enhance the visit. For a more personalised experience, groups are encouraged to explore options for private guided tours, as no guiding is available during opening hours.
Pre-order catering, including picnic lunch bags
Pre-ordering catering options is highly recommended to avoid delays and enrich the group’s experience. Choices include high-quality, seasonal produce through the Palace’s new two-year Group Tour menus, featuring light refreshments, two or three-course hot lunches, cold buffets, or afternoon tea served in a private room. For busy groups with limited dwell time, picnic-to-go options are available, including fresh homemade sandwiches.
Events included in the ticket price

For 2025, group visit prices start from £39 for an adult Palace, Park, and Gardens ticket, with advance booking required. Discounts are available for groups of 15 or more, with free admission provided for one group leader. Additional benefits include free all-day coach parking, a free admission voucher for commercial coach drivers, and a £5 voucher for use in the on-site cafés.
