The British Guild of Tourist Guides has open its applications for the next London Blue Badge course, starting in January 2023.
Blue Badge Tourist Guides are internationally considered the gold standard in tourist guiding and their peerless professionalism and knowledge is recognised by some of the leading sites in the capital, such as St Paul’s Cathedral, The Tower of London and Westminster Abbey.
This training course has been running for over 70 years and its completion will provide access to a professional community of guides who are cultural & social historians, heritage interpreters, contemporary commentators, entertaining story tellers and explorers.
The course is due to start in January 2023 with pre-entry tests taking place from 24 September 2022 and interviews in mid-October 2022. Applications will close on 27 September 2022.
