Throughout the month of December, those visiting Windsor Castle will see the State Apartments transformed with shimmering Christmas trees, twinkling lights, festive garlands and a table display in the Waterloo Chamber, one of the largest rooms in the castle.
One of the key highlights of this year’s Christmas celebrations at Windsor Castle includes a 20-foot-high Nordmann Fir tree in St George’s Hall, grown in Windsor Great Park and dressed with 3,000 lights, hundreds of iridescent jewel-shaped ornaments, and purple velvet and satin ribbons.
Additionally, festive family activities will take place on weekends this month and throughout the Christmas holidays, including craft activities and workshops themed around Victorian Christmas traditions.
