City Cruises has announced a series of cruises in partnership with York Gin across the August Bank Holiday weekend.
As part of its summer events programme, the cruise, which takes place at sunset, is described as “perfect for gin-lovers” with ticket sales exceeding expectations.
Chris Pegg, Commercial & Marketing Manager at City Cruises, commented, “We’re steering into what our customers want – the perfect opportunity to relax and unwind this summer whilst taking in the sights and sounds of York’s bustling waterfront.”
The cruise picks up and drops off from the Lendal Bridge landing stage which will play host to a York Gin pop-up bar, the perfect excuse to extend the evening after the riverside trip.
York Gin’s Head of Sales, Adam Cook said, “We love collaborating with the best experiences in York. And you can’t really beat a gin cruise down the Ouse – relaxing, lots of fun and absolutely delicious.”
The trips run from 25 – 28 August, and tickets cost £34.50, covering the cruise and a selection of free drinks, with more available to buy on board.
