C&M Travel Recruitment has reported that new travel job vacancies have increased by 131% in May. Last month’s total was the highest since January, and also stands at 2% ahead of the pre-pandemic month of May 2019.
Similarly, the number of new candidates searching for new travel jobs jumped by 24% last month and also increased by 2% from May 2022. Last month’s rise was a welcome rebound from the fall seen in April and marked a 74% increase from May 2021 and also a 22% rise from May 2019.
Barbara Kolosinska, Managing Director at C&M Travel Recruitment said, “After a fall in activity around the Easter holidays, we’re very pleased to see a big rebound in recruitment in May.
“In particular, it’s great to see so many new travel jobs being made available. We’re seeing more new roles being created than before the pandemic and, with salaries continuing to rise, this is further evidence that there are some truly fantastic opportunities currently out there for the right candidates.”
