Compass Hospitality has secured management of the Best Western Plus Keavil House Hotel in Dunfermline, Fife. Keavil House Hotel joins an increasingly substantial portfolio of hotels under management in the UK, whose current growth is being further supported by the growing momentum in the Scottish hospitality market.
Keavil House Hotel is Compass Hospitality’s fourth hotel in partnership with The Buxani Group, with the first being the acquisition of GoGlasgow Urban Hotel and later The Craigmonie Hotel of Inverness both in 2018, followed by the Arosfa Hotel in London, Fitzrovia in 2019. The hotel is located two miles west of the historic city of Dunfermline, close to the busy naval shipyard at Rosyth, and 19 miles from Edinburgh city centre. The property was built in the mid 19th century as a country house and then converted to a hotel in the early 1980’s.
The 70-bedroom hotel is set within 12 acres and has been extended over the years to include a thriving health club & spa, and the Elgin Suite for large functions and weddings.
