Now in its 24th year at London’s Lyceum Theatre, The Lion King has extended performances into and beyond summer next year. Frozen the Musical, at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane – London’s oldest operating theatre site – is also on sale to mid July 2024.
Disney’s award-winning musical The Lion King, experienced by more than 110 million people worldwide, explodes with colours, effects and enchanting music. It follows the powerful story of Simba as he journeys from wide-eyed cub to his destined role as King of the Pridelands. The show requires 50 cast members plus an additional 100 people backstage to make each performance happen. There are more than 232 puppets in the show, which took the director Julie Taymor and her team over 37,000 hours to build.
The Lion King is on sale for groups through to 13 October 2024.
Frozen, the award-winning musical brings to life a world of sumptuous beauty, humour and music, in production to melt hearts of all ages. A total of 440 costumes are used during the show, including Elsa’s Ice Dress, which takes over 100 hours to create. Additionally, Elsa’s Ice Palace is made up of over 40,000 Austrian crystals.
Further rate reductions apply when paid 12 weeks in advance.
With high demand for 2024 performances for both West End productions, it is recommended to reserve seats directly with Disney as soon as possible, as the group ticket inventory is filling quickly.
