Dolphin Spirit has launched a new wildlife excursion, the Dolphin Spirit cruise, which operates from Inverness Marina.

With ten years of running boat trips in Inverness, Dolphin Spirit has become well-known for its engaging tours. However, a drop in wildlife sightings, especially dolphins, led them to rethink their approach and explore new opportunities.

The new Dolphin Spirit cruise is a two-hour adventure aboard a newly acquired 70-seat catamaran. This upgraded vessel, more extensive and faster than the previous one, enables quicker trips to the Chanonry Narrows—a renowned dolphin-watching hotspot. The cruise operates twice daily from March to October, with additional trips during peak periods to accommodate increased demand.

Both of Dolphin Spirit’s boat trips are now two hours long, providing more time to spot bottlenose dolphins in their natural habitat. Although sightings can’t be guaranteed, the longer trips are designed to boost the chances of seeing the animals.
