Dotdotdot and Tower of London are set to open a new immersive theatre in a brand new experience in 2020. The new experience is about the story of Guy Fawkes and the Gunpowder Plot to be retold using VR, live actors and physical sensations. The experience will also span 20,000 square feet across three levels, adjacent to the Tower of London.
Visitors will travel back to the 17th century to be amongst the Gunpowder Plotters to solve the most notorious conspiracy in British history in order to become the hero of the hour.
The experience will be using Layered Reality™, which is a combination of real and virtual actors, vibrant sets, virtual, augmented reality and projection mapping and physical sensations – including sound, taste, temperature and aroma.
To make the experience more exciting, there will be a unique themed bar with food available for guests to enjoy, making the whole experience an ideal event for corporates and groups.
