Golden Tours have announced the launch of their Platinum Jubilee themed open top buses in London and Windsor.
To mark the Queen’s 70 years on the throne, commemorative purple wraps and the official Platinum Jubilee emblem have been added to vehicles on routes passing through the most iconic royal landmarks, including Buckingham Palace, Kensington Palace, Westminster Abbey, Tower of London and Windsor Castle.
Mikesh Palan, Managing Director said, “We are delighted to commemorate the Queen becoming the first British Monarch to celebrate a Platinum Jubilee. This is a historic moment for our country, and we are proud to be joining the celebrations.”
The buses will run in the week leading up to the Queen’s Jubilee and during the extended bank holiday weekend, with live guides onboard sharing interesting royal facts and notable stories about the Queen. Passengers on this sightseeing journey will discover London and Windsor from a whole new perspective, hopping-on and off at notable events including the Jubilee Jamboree in Windsor on 28 May, the Queen’s Birthday Parade on 2 June at Horse Guards Parade and the Service of Thanksgiving on 3 June at St Paul’s Cathedral.
