Now in its 22nd year, the Group Travel Awards are one of the most prestigious annual events for the group travel industry, recognising the very best suppliers within the group travel market. Taking place on Friday 1 June, the awards will again be held at London’s Park Plaza Riverbank Hotel and promise an evening of glitz and glamour.
The finalists and eventual winner of each award are selected by readers of GTO magazine who are asked to vote for who they think are the best suppliers in more than 20 categories in group travel. These categories include pre-visit information, transport suppliers, accommodation, destinations, attractions, theatre, and dining experiences, meaning all aspects of what makes a great group trip are covered.
The 2018 awards will be hosted by Matt Johnson – a popular Welsh broadcaster and well known for presenting hit TV shows including Surprise Surprise, Good Morning Britain, and previously ITV’s award winning daytime show This Morning.
