This winter families are invited to join the characters from A Christmas Carol to teach Ebenezer Scrooge a lesson he won’t forget. This brand new immersive street theatre experience will take parents and children on a journey through the cobbled streets of Victorian London to meet and interact with a colourful host of well-known Dickensian characters.
Ideal for families with children aged 3 – 13, Imagine Experiences‘ Dickens Family Christmas Experience will invite participating children to use their Christmas spirit to show Scrooge the error of his ways. Along the way they will meet characters from the classic story to hear tales of Scrooge’s miserly ways and hatch a plan together to help him change before Christmas morning.
A Christmas Carol is one of the best-known festive stories and A Christmas Carol with Dickens provides a new way to experience this tale of kindness, sharing and forgiveness. Guests will begin the experience by meeting Belle, Scrooge’s past love, at the Anchor pub on the Southbank by London Bridge before being led through Dickens’ Victorian London with immersive storytelling. Participants will get the chance to talk to some of the characters from A Christmas Carol and help convince Scrooge to change his ways, before entering the historic and festive George Inn to meet the Ghost of Christmas Present, where guests can also enjoy a festive warm drink.
Each experience lasts between 30 – 60 minutes with slots available to book from 10am to 4pm on 11 – 12 December, 18 – 20 December, and 23 – 24 December. Late December and January dates may be added according to demand. Tickets are £18.50 for adults and children, and family tickets can be booked at £62.50.
