Edinburgh-based footwear and accessory brand, Islander, has launched a new conceptual store on Marshall Street, Edinburgh.
The innovative space showcases Islander’s range of retail products and ready-made bags, and functions as a workshop area capable of hosting up to 40 people for private events or 12 participants per hourly class. The store’s open-plan café enhances the experience, allowing workshop guests to enjoy locally sourced sweet and savory treats, along with specialty coffee.
Islander has captivated Edinburgh with its Custom Harris Tweed Handbag Workshop experiences, offering residents and visitors a unique blend of creativity and craftsmanship. The workshop allows participants to customise their handbags by combining a base color, selecting a Harris Tweed cloth lid, and adding decorative straps, all under the expert guidance of Islander’s skilled instructors.
