On 14 March, The Beatles Story welcomed Kim Johnson to the attraction as part of English Tourism Week on a visit co-organised with UKinbound.
During the visit, Kim Johnson, the MP for Liverpool Riverside, met with staff and learnedabout what The Beatles Story has to offer local, domestic, and international visitors. The museum also highlighted its positive impact on the local economy and community. This year’s theme, ‘supporting people and places to drive growth’, illustrates tourism’s essential role in supporting local economies and creating jobs across the country.
Kim Johnson MP said, “I enjoyed visiting The Beatles Story at the Albert Dock during English Tourism Week. The Beatles Story provides a real immersive insight into how the band became a global phenomenon, the museum welcomes thousands of international visitors every year, it is one on the city’s most popular visitor attractions. Thanks to Mary and Diane for such a pleasurable visit and the amazing work they and all their staff do for making The Beatles Story a great place to visit.”
