Langdale Chase, recently awarded ‘2024 North Hotel of the Year’ and ‘2024 Countryside Hotel of the Year’ by The Sunday Times, has unveiled its new al fresco dining experience at The Terrace.
Designed by garden expert Thomas Mawson, The Terrace offers guests views of his famous garden and the Langdale fells. It is the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the scenery while looking out over Lake Windermere. The Terrace menu features dishes inspired by the flavours of the Lake District and its coastline. Guests can try west coast Cumbrae oysters with a classic mignonette dressing, Exmoor Oscietra caviar, truffle tortiglioni, fruit de mer, or the New England lobster roll. For dessert, guests can enjoy hazelnut affogato or classic British strawberries and cream.
The Terrace is open daily from 12pm to 5pm and Langdale Chase is inviting guests and non-staying visitors to enjoy the new al fresco dining experience.
