The LFC Stadium Tours & Experiences team has been recognised for their dedication to providing high-quality tours and visitor experiences.
The Liverpool City Region Tourism Awards, in collaboration with the national VisitEngland Awards for Excellence, celebrate outstanding hospitality in the region’s tourism sector. At the recent Liverpool City Region Tourism Awards, LFC Stadium Tours & Experiences was named Large Visitor Attraction of the Year, further solidifying Anfield’s status as a world-class destination.
The judges commended Anfield’s tour guides for their ability to captivate visitors with engaging behind-the-scenes stories, bringing the rich history of Liverpool Football Club to life. They also praised the way the tour and museum experience embodies the deep-rooted connection between the city of Liverpool and LFC, making it a popular destination for many fans.
In 2024, nearly 400,000 visitors experienced the Anfield Stadium Tour. Its popularity was further recognised with a TripAdvisor Travellers’ Choice Award, ranking it among the top 10% of attractions worldwide and earning the title of UK’s Best Landmark at the Tiqets Remarkable Venue Awards 2024.

This recognition comes after the recent transformation of the Anfield Museum, now enhanced with state-of-the-art immersive technology and multimedia installations, that bring the club’s journey from humble beginnings to its status as one of football’s most historic clubs – to life.
