LW Theatres has announced the production of Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber’s musical Evita. Directed by Jamie Lloyd, the production will open at The London Palladium on Friday 27 June 2025, with previews from 14 June. The strictly limited engagement runs until Saturday 6 September 2025.
The production brings Evita back to its roots, with Jamie Lloyd’s visionary direction focusing on the compelling story of Eva Perón’s rise from the slums of Argentina to the presidential palace. Featuring celebrated songs such as ‘Don’t Cry for Me Argentina’, ‘High Flying, Adored’, and ‘Another Suitcase in Another Hall’, the musical is widely regarded as a significant work in musical theatre history. Full casting and creative team details will be announced at a later date.
Priority booking opened on Monday 20 January, for members of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s global fan base, The Box Five Club, and other priority booking members. General booking opened on Thursday 23 January. Tickets can be purchased via the official website.
The production offers 5,000 tickets priced at £25 across the run for those under 30, key workers, and those receiving government benefits. These tickets, available across all levels of the theatre, will go on sale at a later date, with further details to be announced. Group bookings start at £25 for groups of 10 or more. Groups can reserve tickets through the official online form via LW Theatres Groups.
