Manchester City Football Club has announced its collaboration with Radisson Hotel Group for a brand new 401-room hotel, set to open in late 2026.

Known as The Medlock, the four-star hotel will be connected to the Etihad Stadium and located within the Club’s wider development at the Etihad Campus. Operating all year round, the hotel will provide accommodation for music and sports fans attending events at the Etihad Stadium and Co-op Live, as well as guests exploring the campus and Manchester.

The Medlock will offer guests a choice of suites, deluxe and standard rooms, and a luxury penthouse suite. Upon completion, guests will also have access to various food and drink outlets, a roof walk and museum experience, and commercial office space in the expanded stadium area. Easily accessible from Manchester City centre, the hotel will also benefit from a wide range of conference and event options within the Etihad Stadium.

With a global business and leisure footprint that continues to grow, The Medlock will join Radisson Blu and Radisson Hotel Group’s portfolio of 1,520 hotels in operation and under development in many locations worldwide. The upscale hotel will be operated by the hotel management company Valor Hospitality.

Roel de Vries, Chief Operating Officer at Manchester City Football Group said, “Today’s announcement is an exciting moment as we reveal the name of our hotel as ‘The Medlock’ and welcome globally renowned hotelier, Radisson Hotel Group to the Etihad Campus.

“Radisson’s enthusiasm and passion for the Club’s hotel project is clear, and we firmly believe that Radisson’s industry experience together with the Club’s ambition and vision for the hotel is the perfect combination.
