Mharsanta has launched the Shipyard Bards Tall Tales Dinner experience in partnership with Glasgow Music City Tours. It will take place on three evenings in early 2025: 18 January, 25 January, and 1 February. This event combines themed dining with captivating storytelling, focusing on maritime history and folklore.

The evening format will feature a two-course meal inspired by Scottish cuisine, with the storytelling and performances taking place between courses. Guests will be treated to tales and poems that explore Scotland’s maritime legacy, from the shipyards of the Clyde to the adventurous spirits who braved the high seas.

The menu will showcase hearty dishes made with the finest local ingredients, offering a true taste of Scotland. Guests can look forward to Peterhead haddock and chips, a comforting plate of haggis, neeps, and tatties (with a vegetarian option available), and Mharsanta’s signature steak and sausage pie. Dessert options include a warm apple pie with custard, traditional cranachan or sticky toffee pudding served with vanilla ice cream.

Tickets for each event are available for £47 per person and can be booked via Mharsanta’s website.
