Nicholson’s Pubs have launched new travel trade menus for their pubs in Edinburgh and Glasgow.

With two and three course options available, they cover a range of budgets and include classic Scottish dishes such as Smoked Salmon, Haggis Neeps and Tatties, and Cranachan, alongside traditional pub favourites such as Nicholson’s Fish and Chips. All of the Scottish pubs are found in easy reach of the city centres, and can comfortably hold groups of up to 40 in both Edinburgh and Glasgow.

Now under the Mitchells and Butlers umbrella, the first Nicholson pub was founded in 1873 and group have continued to offer warm and inviting hospitality to create a the typical pub atmosphere across its 77 pubs in the UK.

There are eight pubs in Edinburgh – Greyfriars Bobby’s Bar, Rose Street Brewery, The Kenilworth, Haymarket, Deacon Brodies Tavern, The Mitre Bar, The Last Drop, and Conan Doyle. Are all located within walking distance of each other and have a fascinating history, such as the Greyfriars Bobby, which is one of the most photographed pubs in Scotland and named after the Edinburgh legend of a scruffy Skye terrier called Bobby. A short walk away is Deacon Brodies, located in the historical heart of Edinburgh and close to Edinburgh Castle and the National Museum of Scotland. Not forgetting Glasgow, visitors will find the Drum and Monkey in the city centre surrounded by attractions such as George Square, the City Chambers, and the ‘style mile’ located on Buchanan Street.
