Premium Tours launches London music walks

Premium Tours and London Rock Tour have announced the launch of new London music-themed walking tours for 2025.

Taylor Swift London Boy Walk
A new addition to London’s music-themed experiences, the Taylor Swift London Boy Walk takes participants through key locations associated with the singer’s connection to the city. Covering areas such as Soho, the West End, and Bond Street, the tour allows fans to explore places referenced in Swift’s lyrics, including sites from the End Game music video and locations that inspired her song Clean. The walk also provides a broader look at London’s entertainment district, highlighting historic clubs, jazz venues, and landmarks of musical significance.

This tour covers approximately 2.5 to 3 miles and includes break options in Soho and Mayfair. An optional guided extension to Kentish Town, accessible via public transport, is available for those interested in additional locations linked to Swift’s time in London. Tours will run year-round on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 10:00am and on Saturdays.

London Soho Music Walking Tour
The London Soho Music Walking Tour takes participants through the heart of the capital’s music history. Covering a range of genres, the experience is tailored to the group’s interests, with highlights including early jazz and blues venues, the rise of rock and prog, the punk and new wave movements, and 80s music landmarks.

Sites featured on the tour include Paul McCartney’s offices, venues associated with The Rolling Stones and David Bowie, and recording studios used by artists such as Queen, The Beatles, and Pink Floyd. Participants will also see former gig locations of bands, including The Who, Led Zeppelin, The Kinks, and clubs linked to The Sex Pistols, The Clash, and Boy George.

The approximately 3-mile walk includes break opportunities and can be combined with the afternoon Classic Rock London coach tour. Tours run throughout the year on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 10:00am.

Camden Rock & Britpop Walking Tour
The Camden Rock & Britpop Walking Tour explores the musical legacy of North London, covering punk, ska, indie rock, and Britpop. Featuring locations associated with Oasis, Amy Winehouse, Blur, Madness, and Coldplay, the tour visits venues where these artists performed and socialised. Pubs, clubs, former homes, and recording studios linked to key figures in Camden’s music scene and sites featured on famous album covers are included.

The tour also references modern artists such as Taylor Swift, Harry Styles, and One Direction, making it an ideal experience for music fans of different generations. Camden Market, a key cultural hub, is part of the experience, along with scenic canal walks, street art, and vinyl record shops.

Starting at Mornington Crescent station, the walk covers approximately 3 to 4 miles and includes several breaks in pubs associated with featured musicians. The tour concludes at Camden Town station, with optional independent visits to Camden Market, Kentish Town, or Amy Winehouse’s Camden Square.

These tours will run from May through September and provide an opportunity to explore London’s music heritage through immersive storytelling and firsthand exploration of historic sites.
