Brighton & Hove Museums has announced a new initiative, ‘We’ve Got Time’, to attract visitors aged 60 and over to the Royal Pavilion. This special offer, launched in celebration of International Day of Older Persons provides a 2-for-1 admission for those aged 60+ who visit with a companion of the same age. The offer runs until 29 November 2024.
Brighton & Hove Museums have noted a slight decline in visits from older audiences and hope to encourage their return through this new offer. The campaign is designed for individuals with more leisure time, such as those recently retired or working part-time.
Hedley Swain, CEO of Brighton & Hove Museums said, “We had a busy summer welcoming families and tourists, but now we want to reach out to those aged 60 and over. Autumn is the perfect season to explore the Royal Pavilion. It’s an opportunity to slow down, enjoy the art and history, and maybe treat yourself to a visit to a nearby café or spoil the grandkids with a trip out. For those with more time on their hands, this is a wonderful way to make the most of it.”
Visitors aged 60+ must provide proof of age at the ticket counter to redeem the offer.
