Leading Liverpool attraction The Beatles Story has reopened its doors after being awarded We’re Good To Go accreditation.
The industry standard mark certifies that relevant safety measures have been put in place in line with Government and industry COVID-19 guidelines, as well as a process to maintain cleanliness and aid social distancing.
The team’s key priority is to ensure the safety of all staff and visitors and the new operating procedures will provide this whilst allowing customers to enjoy an experience with everything the immersive attraction has to offer.
The Beatles Story, which celebrates its 30th anniversary this year, welcomes record-breaking numbers of visitors each year from around the world. Based in the hometown of The Beatles it is considered a ‘must-visit’ pilgrimage for many Beatles fans. Over the past 30 years, The Beatles Story has welcomed numerous celebrity fans including Neil Diamond, Graceland CEO Jack Soden, Dean Cain, Duran Duran, Mo Salah, Star Wars’ Mark Hamill, Tito Jackson, The Libertines, and Jack Whitehall.
General Manager Mary Chadwick said, “We have been carefully planning ahead to ensure the safety of our staff and customers, whilst continuing to meet the high standards we set ourselves, and we are delighted to receive VisitBritain’s We’re Good To Go certification meaning we can confidently reopen our doors.
“There will of course be restrictions in place and we must all still do everything we can to limit the spread of the virus. This includes extra handwash facilities, queue management systems, restricted admission numbers and signage clearly displayed throughout our attraction.
“As part of our 30th anniversary celebrations we will be launching a number of new exhibits and immersive upgrades, one of which is a new Ringo exhibit featuring a personal message to The Beatles Story from Ringo and articles from his personal collection to commemorate his 80th birthday this week.”
