Vintage Trains has announced a second journey of The Shakespeare Express from Derby after the success of the inaugural run.
On Sunday 27 October, The Shakespeare Express will depart from Derby, stopping at Burton-on-Trent, Tamworth, and Coleshill Parkway en route to Stratford-upon-Avon. Passengers will have several hours to explore Shakespeare’s birthplace, shop, and sightsee before the return journey.
For those looking to enhance their journey, Vintage Trains is offering seats in the original Pullman cars, where passengers will enjoy a full English breakfast, afternoon tea, and tea and coffee served at their seats. Tables for two can be booked for a supplement, subject to availability.
