Ventrata has announced an expanded partnership with Adyen, a financial technology platform, to enhance its booking platform with improved real-time data processing and unified payments through Ventrata Payments. Adyen’s technology, currently used by Ventrata in 44 countries, will further streamline payment transactions.
This partnership aims to improve the ticket purchasing process for visitors to sites such as the Empire State Building, which was recently named the number one attraction in the world by Tripadvisor travellers. New web widgets will enable visitors to purchase tickets online using payment methods such as Google Pay and Apple Pay, simplifying the transaction process.
These additional payment options are designed to reduce friction during checkout, potentially lowering basket abandonment rates and increasing conversion rates for online sales. Additionally, Ventrata customers will benefit from Adyen’s risk management system, which uses a global data network to make informed risk decisions and protect customers from fraud.
Michal Pijak, Head of Operations at Ventrata, said, “In the ticketing industry, it is essential to master data processing and cybersecurity. Adyen’s approach aligns with our goals for innovation. With Adyen’s support, we aim to provide a secure multi-channel payment solution for our customers.”
Nicole Olbe, Managing Director UK&I at Adyen, said, “Our collaboration with Ventrata demonstrates the importance of strategic partnerships. We are focused on delivering reliable service to customers worldwide and supporting business growth with our financial technology.”
