Vintage Trains has announced new dates for the Shakespeare Express, scheduled to run from April to November 2024.
Departing from either Birmingham Snow Hill or Stratford Upon Avon, the route encompasses stops at Birmingham Moor Street, Tyseley and Henley in Arden on the outward journey. Select Sunday’s during spring and autumn will also include departures from Worcester, Leicester and Derby.
The Shakespeare Express offers a chance to enjoy the English countryside on a famous express steam locomotive from the golden age of train travel. There are also many dining options to choose from, including full English breakfast, afternoon tea and Sunday lunch on board the locomotive.
